The Union Public Service Commission or UPSC is an agency authorized to conduct the Civil Services Examination, Engineering Services Examination, Combined Defence Services Examination, National Defence Academy Examination, Naval Academy Examination, Combined Medical Services Examination, etc.

You didn't specify for which UPSC examination you want seat. There are lots of exams conducted by UPSC.

Yes of course, a Instrumentation and control engineering final year student can write the UPSC exam, because the basic eligibility for required the UPSC examination is that the applicant must have completed graduation from an y recognized university and the final year students also appear this examination. Following are the details information about it:


Eligibility:

The applicant must obtain a graduation degree from a recognized University of India with good academic record…………..

Nationality:
(a) A citizen of India, or
(b) A subject of Nepal, or
(c) A subject of Bhutan, or
(d) A Tibetan refugee

Age Limits:
You must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st August, of the current year
