The corporation will give you 'First Intimation Letter' by post. It will ask winners to submit a list of documents mentioned in the letters such as PAN card, Domicile certificate, Income certificate/Payslip, Passport, Voter’s ID, Birth certificate, Driver’s license and School leaving certificate. All the documents submitted will be cross-checked by CIDCO officials. If all the submitted documents are correct, then you will receive a 'Provisional Offer Letter'. If the corporation finds any irregularities in the submitted documents, you will receive a letter for submitting requisite documents. Once you receive the provisional offer letter, you will have to pay a certain amount of the flat within a stipulated time. For instance, in the case of MHADA lottery, winners are given 45 days' time from the day of the letter issued to pay 25 percent of the flat price. In another 60 days, winners have to pay the remaining amount. Failing to which, interest will be levied. After paying 100 percent value of the flat, you will get an allotment letter. Pay stamp duty and registration charges levied on the property and submit a copy of registration certificate at CIDCO office. You will get three copies of the possession letter.
