Which entrance exam is famous for higher education in Japanese universities? Can you give me detail for Japanese universities entrance exams?

There is a National Center Test which is conducted by public and some private universities in Japan for admission.

It is held annually during a weekend in mid-January over a period of two days.
There are separate tests for each subject. The tests follow the curriculum guidelines published by the Ministry of Education. Candidates take the subjects specified by their university.
