What is the admission procedure at Gujarat Post Graduate Medical Courses Entrance Exam NEET?

Following is admission procedure at Gujarat Post Graduate Medical Courses Entrance Exam NEET:

1. Application in the prescribed form are invited for admission to the postgraduate medical courses of Gujarat University (other than D.M./M.Ch.). Application forms (along with relevant rules applicable)will be available at office of the Gujarat University, (Co.operative stores. Behind University Library, Nr,Samajvidhya Bhavan,University Campus)on payment of Rs.500/- each as per programme shown in Para-1 (Old forms are invalid).

2. Completed application form along with Admit Card of NEET PG 2013 will be accepted at Room No. 35, P.G. Section, 1s floor, Gujarat University office, Ahmedabad as per programme shown in Para-1.

3. The application form should be complete in all respects before submission. No alteration or addition will be permitted later on.

4. None of the accompaniments will be returned. All original certificates, the copies of which are attached to the application form must be brought at the time of submission of application form for verification if required. Last date of acceptance of completely filled in application form with Admit Card of NEET PG 2013 is as per the programme shown in para-1.

ACPUGMEC will release the application form for Gujarat MBBS Admission most probably in the month of July.

Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC) is the authority responsible for conducting Gujarat MBBS admission

Eligibility:


Candidates who have cleared their class 12 or its equivalent exam from Gujarat board or any other board which is recognized by the Gujarat government are eligible to apply

Admission criteria:


15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats - MCC will conduct centralized counselling on the basis of scores obtained in NEET UG

Central/Deemed universities - MCC will conduct online counselling for Gujarat MBBS admission

85% State Quota seats - On the basis of state merit rank ACPUGMEC will conduct online counselling

Private state colleges - The state counselling body will follow an online seat allotment process which will be on the basis of state merit rank for Gujarat NEET
