CITGO Refinery Oil Spill was occurred on the Calcasieu River, near Sulfur, LA. This was held on19 June 2006. The minimum Tonnes is 6,500 and maximum tones is 6,500. Assessment of oiled shorelines for NRDA purposes continued on July 6 and July 7. The Trustees of CITGO were able to complete the shoreline assessment in Prien Lake (14 km) and begin assessment work in marshes north of the Haymark facility (8 km) and along the east and west banks of the Calcasieu River Ship Channel (18 km)
