The Govt. of Chhattisgarh has conducted the examiantion for teachers CGTET.

The Exam is also known as Chhattisgarh TET.

The Candidates who want to become Govt. Teacher of 1st to 12th class, they must have to appear in the CGTET examination and qualified in the exam.

Eligibility Criteria
For 1st to 5th Class Teacher:
Candidates who want to apply for class 1st to 5th teachers, they must have 10+2 passed from any recognized Board with minimum 45 % marks.

For 6th to 8th Class Teacher:
Candidates who want to apply for class 6th to 8th, they must have a bachelor degree from any recognized Board.

Paper Pattern
The CGTET consist two papers. One for class 1st to 5th and second for class 6th to 8th.
Each paper consist 150 Objective type questions.
Each question consist 1 mark.

Paper 1 Syllabus
(i) Child Development and Pedagogy 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(ii) Language I 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iii) Language II 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(iv) Mathematics 30 MCQs 30 Marks
(v) Environmental Studies 30 MCQs 30 Marks
Total 150 MCQs 150 Marks

Chhattisgarh Teachers Eligibility Test conducts by Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Chhattisgarh State Council of Educational Research and Training, Raipur.

Educational Qualification for Classes I-V
Candidate must have Senior Secondary or its equivalent with at least 50% marks or 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Educational Qualification for Classes VI-VIII

Candidate must have Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education.

Selection Process:
Selections would be made on basis of performance in Examination.

Examination Fee:
General category need to pay the examination fee of Rs. 450/- for any one paper & Rs. 550/- for both the papers.

OBC category have to pay fee Rs.350/- for any one paper & Rs. 450/- for both the papers.

SC/ ST/ PWD candidates need to pay Rs.300/- for any one paper & Rs. 400/- for both papers.

Last week of July 2015

Last Date for Submission of Online Applications:
1st week of August 2015

Dates for Payment of Fees through Online:
Last week of July 2015 to 1st week of August 2015

Dates for Payment of Fees through Offline:
Last week of July 2015 to 2nd week of August 2015

Date of Examination:
Last week of August 2015
