Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Since its founding in 1916 as the first independent graduate school of public health, the School has been making public health history.
The PhD program is designed to equip students with the technical skills for carrying out cutting-edge health policy and systems research and preparing them to take leadership positions in global health settings.

Ethical analyses exploring equity and fairness in health systems
Evaluation
Implementation science
Health economics and financing
Health outcomes and burden of disease methods
Health policy analysis
Health systems research and systems thinking
Quantitative methods (biostatistics)
Qualitative methods

Admission requirements:


Master’s degree in a related field

The Graduate Record Examination (GRE). For the 2021/2022 academic year, GRE scores are highly recommended but not required.

Personal statement of professional and/or research goals

TOEFL or IELTS for non-native English speakers. Minimum scores:
