Obtain the mixture rule for Young's Modulus of a glass fishing rod. Assume that the rod contains longitudinally oriented glass fibres bonded with a polyester resin. 7. Explain the principle of operation of LED. 8. The saturation magnetization of BCC iron is 1750 kAm–1. Calculate the net magnetic moment per iron atom in the crystal. Given lattice constant for BCC iron = 2.87 Å.
