Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) was conceived through an act of Parliament to satisfy the growing demand of proficient workforce in the Petroleum & Energy sector.

RGIPT MBA Admission Eligibility

A candidate must hold a minimum 50% in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class 10th.

A candidate must hold a minimum 50% in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class 12th.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree recognized by the AICTE/UGC/ Institute/ University incorporated by Act of Parliament/State legislature, university declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD).

Candidates meeting the above eligibility criteria and have a valid score of any of these examinations: Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs/ Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT)/ CMAT (conducted by AICTE)

Candidates WITH a Valid Score of any of the examinations of Common Admission Test (CAT)/Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT)/CMAT (conducted by AICTE)/ GMAT Management Aptitude Test (MAT)

A candidate must hold a minimum 65% (60% for SC/ST/PwD) in 10th standard.
A candidate must hold a minimum 65% (60% for SC/ST/PwD) in 12th standard.
A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree from recognized Institute/University with minimum 65% marks or 6.5 CPI on 10 point scale (60% or 6.0 CPI for SC/ST/PwD).
