When is the syllabus of DU-MET 2012? I want list of colleges which accept DU-MET score card for admission in their medical courses? The University of Delhi is a central university located in Delhi India. The University of Delhi wholly funded by Government of India established in 1922 The University of Delhi is the premier institution of higher education in India. The Delhi University offers courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. The Delhi University Medical/Dental Entrance Test is an entrance exam for admission to the bachelor medical and dental courses MBBS and BDS in University of Delhi. The DUMET 2013 is conducted by University of Delhi Faculty of Medical Sciences. Eligibility: Qualification: The candidate should have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system conducted by the C.B.S.E/ Council of the Indian School Certificate Examination/ Jamia Milia Islamia, New Delhi with required subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from the recognized schools situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi only, will be eligible for admission. The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ST category candidates and 45% marks in case of OBC category) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Age limit: The candidates should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December. Important dates: Here are the dates for the DUMET 2013: The sale of Bulletin of Information: 24th January, 2013 The last date for receipt of request for supply of the application form along with BOI by POST is: 11th February, 2013 (for General Category) The last date of sale of Bulletin of Information by hand: First week of March 2013 The last date for receipt of Applications in the office of the Medical Faculty: First week of March 2013 The Issue of duplicate admission tickets Second week of May 2013 The Date of Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test (DUMET): Third week of May 2013 Paper pattern: The DUMET 2013 will consist of one paper of 3 hours duration. The paper will consist of 200 questions; 50 in each subject such as: 50 in Physics 50 in Chemistry 50 in Botany 50 on Zoology The DUMET is Objective Type Examination. Each question will carry 4 marks. The total marks of Paper would be 800. For each correct response, the candidate will get 4 marks. For each incorrect response one mark will be deducted from the total score.
