What is admission process of the CEPT University in Master of interior architechture & design? And also provide me admission eligibility.

Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology University was established in the year 1962. It is located at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.


CEPT University offers two Masters Programs in the field of Interior Architecture & Design:
International Master of Interior Architectural Design (IMIAD)

Master of Interior Architecture and Design (MIAD)

Interior Architecture defines the immediate physical environment of a human being, encompassing philosophical, spiritual, mental and emotional relationships that connect man and space.

Interior Architectur offers the changing needs of an individual and the world towards the act of creating, adapting and expressing.

Both programs offer specialization in three streams –
Energy Efficiency
Craft & Technology and History
Theory & Criticism.

The requirements for IMIAD, ---Candidate must complete one semester-long international exchange and one two-week-long international workshop at a pre-decided partner institute.

The IMIAD is one of the first internationally oriented postgraduate degree programs in interior architecture in India.

The programs have philanthropic support from Sir Ratan Tata Trust and the International Federation of Interior Architects, IFI.

Here is the admission eligibility of the course:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture or Design or equivalent, awarded upon completion of a course of minimum four years duration, or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture recognized by the Council of Architecture, or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology (five-year programme), or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design awarded upon completion of a course of three years duration, provided that the selected candidates successfully clear 12 months of Bridge Course to be conducted at CEPT, or Diploma in Interior Design of four years duration (12 + 4), provided that the programme is considered equivalent to a four-year degree programme by the Equivalence Committee of CEPT University. In case this equivalence is not granted by CEPT University the selected candidate will have to undergo 12 months of Bridge Course.
