A PERSON IS EARNING 5000 PM AND HE IS ABSENT FOR 15DAYS I.E HE WILL RECEIVE SALARY OF 2500.,THEN IN THAT MONTH SHOULD I DEDUCT ESI . SINCE RULE 52 OF ESI CENTRAL RULES STATES THAT WAGES SHOULD BE UPTO RS.100 PER DAY I.E 2600 P.M(EXCLUDING SUNDAY) . IN THIS CASE EMPLOYEE IS NOT LIABLE FOR ESI OR NOT ON WHICH AMOUNT ESI IS DEDUCTED 5000 OR 2500 PLEASE CLEAR MY DOUBTS |
