Can you provide me the syllabus of Entrance Exam of PGPM (Rural Management); PRM (Programme in Rural Management)/ FPRM of IRMA or Institute of Rural Management, Anand?

The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) is one of the famous institutes for providing higher education in the field of Rural Management and other allied disciplines in India.

One needs to be a graduate from any discipline with a minimum percentage of marks as prescribed by the Institute for the purpose.

Pattern of Entrance Exam & Syllabus for Study:


There shall be objective type paper having multiple choice questions on the following five main sections as given below:

Section I:
Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension
This section shall contain questions on the following –Fill in the Blanks, Sentence Correction, Paragraph Forming, Reading Comprehension and Close Passage based questions respectively

Section II: Quantitative Ability (25), Data Interpretation (20) & Data Sufficiency (5) Under this section, there will be 4 short questions in DI and 2 sets of long questions in DI for the applicants to solve within the given time frame which is 40 Minutes for a total of 30 Questions respectively.

Section III: Reasoning This section shall contain questions on controversy based on Strong /Weak Argument and Implications respectively. This shall also include questions on DS (Data Sufficiency) to be solved in the given time as specified for this purpose. Section IV: Issues on Social Concern It includes questions on agriculture, rural economy, peoples and places in news, World Trade Organizations and the like.

Total Number of Questions: 200

Total Time Allotted: 2 Hours

Marking Criteria:
As there are five options per question, hence, one needs to choose the most correct one. The correct answers would fetch one mark per question to the applicants while the wrong answers shall deduct the 1/4 marks per question from the total score gained by the applicants respectively.
