Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is a distance learning national university and it is named after former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi.

This university was founded in 1985 when the Parliament of India passed the Indira Gandhi National Open University Act, 1985 (IGNOU Act 1985).

Master of Business Administration (MBA):

Minimum Duration: 2.6 Years
Maximum Duration: 8 Years

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have graduation in any discipline with 50 per cent marks of General Category and 45 per cent marks for reserved category.

OR

Candidates must have Bachelor's degree with three years of supervisory/ managerial/professional experience, or Professional Degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Medicine/ Architecture/ Law/ Pharmacy or Professional Qualifications in Accountancy/ Cost and Works Accountancy/ Company Secretaryship etc.

Admission Criteria:
Candidates must have clear OPENMAT conducted by IGNOU or CAT, MAT, and State level tests.
