NIFT Phd FDP

I have completed graduation can I apply for faculty development program offered by NIFT? What is the duration of this course? I want to know about its fee structure?

NIFT, Delhi invites applications for PhD degree in the following areas:

Design
Fashion & apparel Industry
Management & Technology with broad reference to textiles

And also offers FDP program for 1 year duration aimed at creating a pool of interested, motivated & trained manpower in the field of fashion education.

Duration:
PhD: 5 years
FDP: 1 Year

Eligibility:
For FDP:
The candidate must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks from any of the recognized university.
The candidates in the graduation and currently in their final year are also eligible to apply.
For PhD:
The candidate should have done Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with at least 50% marks from any recognized university.
The candidates appearing in their final year are also eligible to apply.

Selection:
For PhD: On the basis of the interview
For FDP: On the basis of the written Exam which can be followed by the PI.

Important dates:
Availability of Application Forms: From 3rd week of June, 2013
Last Date for submitting the completed application forms: In the 1st week of August, 2013
Date of Entrance Examination/Interview: In the 3rd week of August, 2013

Application Process:
The application forms can be obtained in person on the payment of the prescribed application fee.
The form may also be downloaded from the official website of the institute.

Eligibility criteria for FDP (faculty development program): candidates must have completed any degree recognised by law in India with a not less than CGPA 6.5 or 65% or equivalent.
