Part-time MBA only if the income that you earn forms a significant part of your or your family's livelihood. Part-time MBAs is ideal for those who have a considerable amount of work experience and are now looking at moving up the corporate ladder.

Though the medium of instruction differs, MBA (Master in Business Administration) Part time course structure and curriculum is the same as that for a regular MBA. The timings and duration for a part-time program tend to be much more flexible than a full-time course. It is spread across the duration of 2-3 years.


Online resources allow choosing a time schedule, as per convenience. It allows learning as well as work. It is meant for working professionals and wants to earn a management degree without taking a break from work. Its classes are held in the evening hours or during weekends. The main reason people do Part time MBA is to get a promotion in their current jobs.


Part-time or executive MBA program helps the professionals to expand their knowledge base. There are many part-time MBA colleges in India where one can even go for evening classes. However, some of them provide the flexibility of classes on alternate days while other offer evening classes.
