Here I want to inform you that GATE 2014 scores will be primarily used for admissions purposes to post-graduate engineering programs include:-

M.E/ M.Tech/ direct Ph.D,

although increasingly they are also being used by Public sector units for their recruitment process.

GATE 2014 Eligibility



GATE 2014 Exam Mode: All the 22 papers in GATE 2014 will be online from 2014.

GATE 2014 Exam Pattern:

You will be tested on your comprehension and application skills, recall as well as analytical abilities

You will have to answer Multiple Choice Questions and Numerical Questions.

General Aptitude Questions are compulsory for all GATE 2014 exam papers

GATE 2014 XE Paper will have a mandatory section in Engineering Mathematics and General Aptitude along with any two of XE sections B to G.

GATE 2014 XL Paper Pattern will have a mandatory section in Chemistry and General Aptitude along with any two of XL sections I to M

GATE 2014 Application Fee:

General/OBC-NCL Male Candidates: Rs 1500

SC / ST / PD category Candidates: Rs 750

Women Candidates: Rs 750

For success in GATE exam you need hard work. You must create a time schedule for study. You require Minimum 5 hours daily for study daily. You can get study material and short notes from your seniors. Collect All the related the subject, Some books useful for pre-requisite knowledge on the topic, Some excellent guide books for GATE and get previous year question paper and answer key. You must keep contact with a few expert and GATE experienced candidates. Read minimum 5 books, it will broaden applicants knowledge, note down the possible concepts, solve problems as maximum as possible, think about different tricks in solving problems and presence of mind for sudden answer.
