COURSE OUTCOMES
On completion of the course, student will be able to
CO1 - Differentiate various types of transmission and distribution systems.
CO2 - Interpret transmission line parameters for single and three phase.
CO3 - Analyze the performance of over head transmission line.
CO4 - Describes the different configuration of line insulator and cables and evaluating their performances and examine
the mechanical design of overhead transmission line.
CO5 - Illustrate the various methods of voltage control of lines and understand the compensation concepts of
transmission line using FACTS devices.
CO6 - Understand the economic aspects of high voltage transmission (AC & DC).
