I want to do Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) course in Indian Overseas Bank so can you provide me the details of the program?

Indian Overseas Bank and Manipal School of Banking (IOBMSB) jointly offer 1 year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance course.

Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance course

On successful completion of the programme, the programme participants would be awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Banking & Finance (PGDBF) by Manipal University and would be absorbed as Probationary Officers in Indian Overseas Bank

Eligibility Criteria -

Graduation from a recognised University/Institution with minimum 60% Marks. (For Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PC category minimum 55% Marks)
Age: Minimum 20 years - Maximum 28 years.

Course Fee:

The fees for this Course will be Rs.3.30/- lakhs (all inclusive of Boarding, Lodging and course fees, other fees, etc.) plus service taxes, as applicable to be paid by the selected candidates.

Selection Process:

Selection will be based on Aptitude Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

The online aptitude test pattern for the recruitment process consists of 5 sections as given below:

There will be negative marks at the rate of 0.25 for wrong answers.

Personal Interview:

All the applicants who successfully clear the Objective test will be invited for a Personal Interview.

Probation Period

The selected candidates will be on probation for a period of two years (24 months of active service) from the date of joining the services of the Bank as per the rules of the Bank.


A stipend amount will be paid to the students during the entire duration of the one year course Rs. 2,500/- p.m. during the nine months Campus period, and Rs. 10,000/- p.m. during the internship period.
