What are the norms that are needed to become a lecturer as per the rules set up by the AICTE?

As you wish to become a lecture and the norms set up by the AICTE fro the post that you are aiming for are as follows-

The candidate must have First Class Master's Degree in the appropriate branch of
Engineering (Engg.) / Technology (Tech.) (No minimum
experience required).

OR
First Class Bachelor's degree in the appropriate branch of
Engineering / Technology or equivalent, along with the valid GATE score, minimum should be 75percentile; is going to complete M.Tech / ME within 5years failing to which the increments will be stopped until the postgraduate degree is obtained.

NOTE:
If a candidate has not got 1st class/division at B.E or M.E/Equivalent Degree a minimum of 60 % marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA shall be considered equivalent to first class/division.
