Default NTSE Scholarship Award

Hi I would like to have the information about National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) and the details of the Scholarship awarded and other aspects of NTSE?

The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) for understudies considering in Class X is intended to distinguish and support ability. The examination is directed each year at two levels: Stage-I (Stage Level) and Stage-II (National Level)

This year, NTSE will be directed at State Level on 04th and 05th November 2017 and at National Level on thirteenth May 2018

Scholarship Details

Around One thousand (1000) grants are granted for various phases of training as takes after:

a) Scholarship of Rs.1250/ - every month for Class-XI to XII

b) Scholarships of Rs.2000/ - every month for Undergraduates and Post graduates

c) Amount of Scholarship for PhD be settled as per the UGC standards

NTSE Reservation

15% grants will be held for understudies having a place with the SC class, 7.5% grants for understudies having a place with the ST classification and 4% for Physically Challenged gathering of understudies

Qualification Criteria NTSE

All understudies of Class X contemplating in perceived schools are qualified to show up for the Stage-I examination, led by the States/UTs, in which the schools are found. There is no home confinement for understudies

Understudies enrolled under Open Distance Learning (ODL) will likewise be qualified for grant, gave the understudy is underneath the age 18 years (as on 01st July of the specific year), the understudies is not utilized and she is showing up in Class X examination surprisingly

NTSE Selection Process

Stage-I, determination will be finished by States/UTs and the individuals who qualify Stage-I, will be qualified to show up for Stage-II examination, directed by NCERT
