Hii sir, I Wants to get the Information About the Directorate General of Special Education And Social Welfare Pakistan ?

Directorate General of Special Education (DGSE) was established in 1985 as an Attached Department of the Ministry of Health, Social Welfare & Special Education through a directive of the President of Pakistan.

Vision :
To provide enabling environment and opportunities through policies, plans, programs and projects that would promote social progress, educate and rehabilitate children / persons with disabilities and vulnerable groups of the society.

Function :

i) Facilitate Preparation and Execution of Policies and Plans for Education & Training of Persons with Disabilities.

ii) Development and standardization of curriculum for children with special needs.

iii) Human Resource Development as per needs of Children with Disabilities.

iv) Organizing Conferences, Seminars & Workshops.

v) National Planning and Coordination in various Fields of Disabilities

vi) Cooperation and Agreements with other International Organizations.

vii) Overall execution and supervision of Special Education & Training Programmes at National level.
