My sister is pursuing Ph.D Degree from Kuvempu University. She wants to submit Thesis but don’t know the procedure. So will you provide procedure for submission of thesis for Ph.D Program at Kuvempu University?

The Kuvempu University was established in 1987.

The University is approved by UGC.

It has several Departments that offer a wide range of Educational Programs.

As you want to know the procedure for submission of thesis, so here I am providing following procedure:

Procedure for Submission of Thesis:
Subject to the above min-max period for submission of thesis, everycandidate, six months prior to the probable date of submission ofthesis, shall submit an application along with 20 copies of synopsis ofthe thesis through the Research Supervisor to the chairperson of P. G
Department for permission to submit the thesis

He/she is required toproduce reprint/galley proof/proof of acceptance of researchpaper/patent to the Doctoral Committee during his/her pre submission colloquium.

The candidate who has submitted the application forpermission to submit thesis shall undergo pre-submission colloquiumbefore the Doctoral Committee showing his/her preparedness tosubmit the thesis.

Considering the work of the candidate, his/her performance at thepre-submission colloquium and also the publications besides othertechnical aspects, the Doctoral Committee shall permit the candidateto submit the thesis.

However, if the Committee is not satisfied with the work of thecandidate, it can, in consultation with the Research Supervisor,recommend for improvements.

In this type of situation, the candidateshall appear for pre-submission colloquium again before the Doctoral Committee within three months.

Every candidate shall, not later than three months after obtainingpermission from the Doctoral Committee for submission of thesis,shall submit three copies of the thesis to the Registrar.

The candidate shall also pay the prescribed submissionfee, and produce “No Due Certificates” from the chairperson of the P.G Department/Head of the Institution concerned, UniversityLibrarian and Hostel Warden.
