Selection Process

The selection process will comprise of the following:

GATE-2017: Candidates should have appeared in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2017

The GATE-2017 Score in the subject mentioned against the posts of ONGC will be considered by ONGC for shortlisting the candidates for the further selection process of Personal Interview as per the criteria decided by the Management

i. Weightage of GATE-2017 Score - 60 Marks

ii. Interview - 15 Marks

iii. Qualification - 25 Marks ( 20 Marks for Essential Qualification & up to 05 marks for additional in line higher qualification*)

Total - 100 Marks

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate who have minimum 60% in Graduation Engineering/Science in relevant disciplines

For Programming Officer: Pass in ‘B' level diploma as defined by Dept. of Electronics and GOI

Age Limit -

The maximum age limit of candidates should be 30 years

For Drilling & Cementing: Max. 28 years (For OBC: 31 YEARS & SC/ST: 33 years); For all Others: Max. 30 years (For OBC: 33 YEARS & SC/ST: 35 years); For PWD: Gen: Max. 40 years (For OBC: 43 YEARS & SC/ST: 45 years)

Relaxation of age will be applicable to Departmental candidates as per rules
