TISSNET Eligibility

I want to apply for Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test (TISSNET) Exam so can you tell me the eligibility criteria to apply for exam?

Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test (TISSNET) Exam is conducted by the TATA Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai for admissions in 55 Masters in Social Science programmes across the five campuses of TISS – Mumbai, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Tuljapur and Chennai (Banyan).

TISSNET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with three year’s Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognised university are eligible to apply.

Candidates studying in three and four-year degree programmes should have passed in all the subjects of semester 1 to semester 4 and semester 1 to semester 6 respectively.

Candidates studying in the final year of their degree programme are also eligible to apply.

Last date to submit the form online November 25, 2017
Last date to submit the form by post November 27, 2017
TISSNET admit cards will be issued on December 18-19, 2017
TISSNET 2018 Exam January 6, 2018 (2:00 to 3:40 pm)
TISSNET 2018 Result January 27, 2018 (8:00 pm)
Pre-Interview Test and Personal Interview March 3 to 29, 2018
Announcement of final result April 27, 2018

TISSNET Selection Procedure

Candidates who clear the written test will be appearing for GD-PI rounds. Different stages of the selection procedure carry different weight.

The final selection of the student will be based on the criteria given below:
