Application Fee:

Candidates have to submit the application fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 600/- for female candidates).

Eligibility:

Applicants must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized educational board.

The qualifying examination should be passed with minimum 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.

For architecture and pharmacy course, the qualifying examination should be passed with minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

Exam Pattern

For GAT (UGTP):

Courses: It is conducted for admission to undergraduate courses like 4-years B.Tech, 6-years B.Tech + M.Tech, 5-years B.Arch and 4-years B.Pharm.

Number of Questions: The question paper contains total 100 questions of maximum 300 marks.

Question Paper Type: All the questions were of objective type.

Number of Subjects: The questions was asked from Physics (30 questions), Chemistry (30 questions), Mathematics/Biology subjects (40 questions).

Exam Mode: Online Exam (Computer Based Test).

Exam Duration: The duration of test was 2 hours.

Marking Scheme: Each correct answer is awarded with 3 marks.

Negative Marking: For every incorrect answer, 1 mark is deducted.
