The Faculty of Sports Sciences, Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, Patiala offers two year Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine for MBBS Doctors. This Diploma is affiliated with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot ( India ) and is recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Eligibility -

Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS examination from any of the Indian/Foreign university recognized by Medical Council of India), one year compulsory rotatory internship.

Stipend

PGDSM students will receive stipend equal to the pay scale of Rs.15600 – 39100 + Rs.5400 Grade Pay + DA as admissible from time to time. The in-service/sponsored candidates will not receive any stipend.

All India Quota – as conducted by MCC
State/Institutional Quota – as conducted by BFUHS, Faridkot
