Can you tell me in detail about the recruitment 2017 and selection process for multiple Solider Posts in Indian Army in Assam?

Indian Army has given a notification for the recruitment of Solider General Duty, Tradesman, Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical/ Clerk Inventory Management, Solider Nursing Assistant vacancies.

Eligible candidates of may apply online from 25-08-2017 to 08-10-2017 & attend army recruitment rally from 24-10-2017 to 31-10-2017.

Name of the Posts:
1. Solider General Duty
2. Soldier General Duty, Gorkha
3. Soldier Tradesman
4. Soldier Technical
5. Soldier Technical Nursing Assistant
6. Soldier Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical/ Inventory Management

Age Limit:
One’s age should:
Between 17 ½ to 21 years (Born between 01 Oct 1996 to 01 Apr 2000) for Post 01,
17 ½ to 23 Years (Born between 01 Oct 1994 to 01 Apr 2000) for remaining posts

Educational Qualification:
One should possess:
Class 10th pass with 33% in each subject and 45% aggregate for Post 01, 02,
Class 10th pass (8th Pass for Mess Keeper and House Keeper only), for Post 03,
10+2/Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject or 3 years Diploma in Engineering Technical/ Electrical/ Automobiles/ Computer Science and Electronic & Instrumentation Engineering) from recognized Polytechnic Institute/ Industrial Training Institute (ITI) for Post 04,
40% in compulsory subjects (Physics, English and Biology) and 50% in aggregate in class 10+2/ Intermediate or B. Sc degree (Botany/Zoology/Bio-Science) and English (Simple Pass) the stipulation of percentage in Class XII is waived off. However, one should have studied all 4 specified subjects in Class XI for Post 05,
12th pass from any stream (Arty/ Commerce/ Science) with minimum 60% in aggregate and 50% in each subject, having English and Math/Accounts/Book Keeping as compulsory subject at 10th or 12th Standard with minimum 50% marks in each of these subjects for Post 06.

Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on physical and Medical tests, rally.
