Default Re: IIT Madras Phd Written Test Syllabus

Indian Institute of Technology Madras is a public engineering and research institute located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and is one of India's most prestigious universities

PhD department includes:

1. EE
2. CSE
3. Biomedical
4. Management

Written test syllabus:

Written Test:

Written test consists of two sections (i) Aptitude, Maths and Core (in CSE, basic C programming Qs and Data Structures.

Focus only on basics) (ii) Subjective Exam (in CSE, they ll give 15/20 Qs. You have to attempt 10Qs. Questions will cover all computer subjects. DS, Algos, Digital logic, CO, OS, (majorly); CN, DBMS, Compilers, Probability, etc. (minor))

Be thorough in some subjects that helps a lot in subjective exam instead of all subjects.

Interview:

In interview panel would consist of 3 to 4 professors.

They will mostly ask you the questions that have gone wrong in written test. so, try to figure out them in the time you have between written test and interview.
