1. Name of the Program:

M. Tech. in Materials, Manufacturing and Modelling

2. Allow every year:

25 hopefuls

3. Qualification Criteria and Selection Procedure:

Hopefuls looking for admission to this program must have B. Tech/B.E. on the other hand equal in Metallurgical/ Mechanical/Production Engineering with FIRST class (60%) (55% for SC/ST). The hopefuls must have either a legitimate GATE score or 2 years pertinent expert experience. Choice will be founded on the execution in a composed test and/or meet.

4. Program Structure:

The program structure, abridged in the accompanying table, includes 5 center courses, 2 center research facility courses and 4 elective courses in themes significant to the program. Notwithstanding over, an establishment elective course, a course on Communications Skills, a class and two phase M. Tech. Exposition are part of the program. The proposed structure is in consistence with the senate endorsed proposals for M. Tech. projects of this establishment.

Organization of the Program:

The M. Tech. Program is between departmental in nature and is the first of its kind in the establishment. The bureaus of Metallurgical Engineering and Material Science (MEMS), Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Mathematics would be basically in charge of directing it however interest from other offices is not barred. The program is composed by an Institute Program Committee(IPC) containing the Heads and agents of the three offices. The Convenor of the IPC will be the Head of one of these offices and will change once at regular intervals by pivot.
