No problem I will get details of All India Institute of Medical Sciences Post Graduate Entrance Examination (AIIMS PG ) seats and other information of exam.

Candidates must have an MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS from a recognized institution recognized by Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India

Candidate belonging to general category must have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate in MBBS, while it is 50% for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories

Exam pattern
As you all know the importance of knowing about the exam pattern before appearing for the exam, we have provided the complete breakup below of the AIIMS PG 2017 Exam Pattern.

MD/ MS 200 3 hours 1/3
MDS 90 90 minutes 1/3

There are a total of 200 multiple choice objective type questions for MD/ MS program and 90 for MDS program.

This exam is Computer Based Test and the length of the exam is 3 hours for MD/ MS and 90 minutes for MDS program.

For each wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted in the test and 1 mark will be added for every correct answer

Application Fee
Candidates of general category have to pay Rs. 1000 (plus applicable transaction charges) as an application fee.

Those belong to SC/ST category, they have to submit Rs. 800/- (plus applicable transaction charges).

OPH Candidates is exempted from payment of any Fee. Candidates can pay the fee from online mode (credit card/debit card/net banking).
