Regional forecast for Strathclyde Issued at: 0900 on Wed 4 Jan 2017is as takes after:

Dry, chilly and sunny in many spots. Across the board ice this evening.


An icy begin toward the beginning of today with some inconsistent ice. All parts will have a dry, cool and sunny day albeit some sketchy cloud along the west drift on occasion. Most extreme Temperature 5 °C.


Dry with some protracted clear periods tonight and overnight. A boundless ice soon setting in tonight, locally sharp in northern Argyll glens. Winds falling light. Least Temperature - 4 °C.


After a chilly begin it will be dry, frosty and very brilliant, the best of the daylight in the morning. Blurring over later with night rain in the west. Most extreme Temperature 5 °C.

Standpoint for Friday to Sunday:

Rain at first on Friday, locally substantial in the south, generally turning out to be primarily dry. Chiefly shady throughout the end of the week with some inconsistent rain, for the most part in the west.
