Can you provide me the eligibility required for one year Intensive Course in Acting offered by National School of Drama Bangalore Chapter?

The National School of Drama is one of the foremost theatre training institutions in the world and the only one of its kind in India. It was set up by the Sangeet Natak Akademi as one of its constituent units in 1959.

One year Intensive Course in Acting (Bengaluru Chapter)

Essential Qualifications:

The minimum qualification shall be Graduation or equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

It is relaxable in the case of extraordinary talented candidates from the tribal, folk and traditional performing art families.

Sufficient knowledge of theatre with participation in at least 4 productions

Age: Minimum 20 & Maximum 30 years

For reserved category candidates, reservation and age relaxation shall be as per rules.

All selected students shall be awarded a scholarship of Rs.4500/- per month
