From 2016 Karnataka Govt. is trying to give admissions through CET entrance exam.

The Karnataka BEd Selection List is prepared on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination and reservation of seats

Eligibility Criteria:

A citizen of India who passed B.A / B.Sc. degree examination of Bangalore University or any University in India or abroad recognised as equivalent through 10+2+3 pattern of education obtaining 50% of marks in aggregate of all the subjects he/she has studied for 3 years is eligible.

Seats Reservation

There is a reservation of seats for various categories. It is provided below (as per last year):

General Merit 50%
ST 15%
SC 3%
Category 1 4%
Category 2A 15%
Category 2B 4%
Category 3A 4%
Category 3B 5%
There is a reservation of 1 % of seats for these groups also. The details are

BCM stands for Sh. Bahadur Chand Munjal (1886-1960), in Whose sacred memory, BCM College of Education was established in 1998 by BCM foundation owing to the untiring endeavors of Sh. Satyanand Munjal, Co-Chairman and MD, Hero Group of Industries.

Eligibility for Admission to B.Ed. Special Education (Learning Disability):

1st Year The admission to the course shall be open to all the eligible candidates. 85% seats will be reserved for the candidates from within the state and 15% will be open to candidates of other states on all India Basis Admission Procedure for B.Ed.

Special Education [LD] Admission to the B. Ed, special education course shall be made strictly according to rules/guidelines framed by RCl/Panjab University/ Punjab Government.

Important information regarding original documents to be shown at the college at the time of admission:
Hard copy of duly filled online admission form
Copies of mark sheets of qualifying examinations
Copy of matriculation certificate for proof of date of birth
Copy/Copies of certificate for claiming seat against reserve category (if any)

Admission Procedure for B.Ed.

Admission to the B.Ed, course shall be made strictly according to rules/guidelines framed by Panjab University/ Punjab Government.

There are a total of 150 seats for B.Ed Course 1st Year of Panjab University in this College.

Out of the total 19 seats will be filled under Management Quota as per the Punjab Govt./ Panjab University norms.

The Management Quota Seats will be filled according to Punjab Govt, directions. Students willing to get admission to Management Quota seats will have to apply to the College directly.
