Human Resource Development Course by Symbiosis

I need the information about human resource development course by symbiosis for year 2012 for my son. What is the fees structure and when the entrances exam will be conducted. Can I download the HRD Exam application form from the official website?

Symbiosis was launched in 1971with the sole objective to promote understanding between Indian and foreign students with the help of education. Symbiosis has 32 academic institutions in several fields. Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development, Pune, was launched in 1993. Candidates need to fill an application form and must appear for a common test taken by the institution for this course. Apart from this, Candidates will have to face a personal interview based on the current topics. All the students will have to follow the rules forwarded by the institution.

For MBA in Human Resource a candidate is required to buy the Symbiosis Distance Learning MBA prospectus which includes an application form.
The prospectus can purchase from the SCDL cash counter located in the main office at Symbiosis Pune. The Distance learning MBA prospectus is available for a cash payment of Rs. 900/- only. The same is also available at the Symbiosis Nasik Information Centre.
Prospectus can also get via post by sending along a request with a DD of Rs. 1100/-.

MBA(HR) is 2 year course. Candidate is require to visit to SCDL office with the properly filled application form, registration fees and the documents mentioned in the prospectus.
If the candidate is found to be fulfilling all eligibility criteria he/she will immediately receive the admission letter, identity card.

Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)

PGDHRM is a diploma programme comprising of two semesters.

There will be two batches - weekend & weekdays evening. Candidates who opt for weekend batch will have classes on weekends 8 hours a day & candidates who opt for weekdays batch will have classes on weekdays in the evening for 3 hours.

Eligibility

Graduate from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade.

Selection Procedure
There will be written test and Personal Interaction.
Written test will consist of English communication and multiple choice questions based on basic mathematics (data interpretation).

Timings and Venue
This program will be conducted at our Hinjewadi Campus on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from 10 AM to 6 PM over a period on one year (2 semesters).
