Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies and Research (AIACTR) was established in 2001 by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. It is developing as a Centre of Excellence imparting technical education in the field of engineering.

AIACTR was ranked 14th in the DataQuest Magazine 2015 survey of government-owned technical schools.
