The Department of Microbiology was built up by the University of Pune in 1977 and started its exercises in the Department of Botany and soon moved to its present working in 1989 and now during the time spent growing to the extra new building which was introduced in January 2012.

M.Sc. Microbiology Curriculum

M.Sc. Microbiology is a full time credit based course containing two years (Four Semesters). Division offers directions in wide territories of Microbiology, for example, Microbial digestion system, Physiology, Genetics, Molecular science, Medical Microbiology, Immunology, Applied and Environmental Microbiology; which is successfully encouraged by very much adjusted credit based educational modules comprising of various hypothesis papers and useful courses.

Scholarly Year

1. Library

The Department has its own little Library, which takes into account the prompt needs of the understudies and in addition analysts.
