I want to get the details of United Nation Civil Services Examination so can you please provide me?

Young Professionals Programme (UN Civil Services) Examination is conducted by United Nations in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs and Indian Council for Cultural Relations is conducting the for a recruitment initiative that brings new talent to the United Nations through an annual entrance examination.

For young, high-caliber professionals, the programme is a platform for launching a career at the United Nationals.

The examination is open to Indian nationals

The examination is offered to candidates with academic background in:

Economics Affairs
Information System and Technology
Political affairs
Radio Producer (Kiswahili/Portuguese)
Social Affairs

Eligibility Criteria:

At least a first-level university degree, such as a Bachelor or Master Degree in related subject Fluency in either English or French A national of participating country

Age Limit -
Maximum Age 32 Years

Participating Countries-

Each year, countries that are un- or under-represented in the United Nations, are invited to take part in the Young Professionals Programme.

Afghanistan, Andorra, Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Bahrain, Barbados, Belarus, Belize, Brazil, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, China, Comoros, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Dominica, Equatorial Guinea, Gambia, Greece, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Kiribati, Kuwait, Laos, Latvia, Lesotho, Liberia, Libya, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Monaco, Mozambique, Nauru, Norway, Oman, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Poland, Qatar, Saint Lucia, San Marino, Sao Tome and Principe, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Somalia, South Sudan, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Togo, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Tuvalu, United Arab Emirates, United States, Vanuatu, Vietnam

Written examinations

The written examination consists of the following two parts:

A general paper which tests drafting skills (forty-five minutes); and a specialized paper (three hours and forty-five minutes) which tests the substantive knowledge of the particular occupation that the candidate is applying for.

In cases where the number of candidates sitting the written examination is high, the essay section of the specialized paper will be eliminatory.

The written examination questions are given in English and French
