Qualifying degree:
B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, M.Sc. (Materials Science), Materials Engineering, Metallurgy, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Metallurgical & Materials Technology, Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science

One must possess the qualifying degree with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA with 5% relaxation for SC/ST and Persons with disability (PwD) category candidates.

Valid Gate Score in:
Metallurgical Engineering (MT), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Production & Industrial Engineering (PI)

Eligibility
 All GATE qualified candidates who have qualifying degree as above and are eligible for the degree.
 No registration fee is required from the candidates who have already registered with CCMT-2016 and/ or PEC self supporting M.E. program. But, the proof of registration along with the application is mandatory or otherwise application will be disqualified.
 Fresh candidates need to submit the registration fee (nonrefundable) of Rs. 1500/- in the form of a demand draft (DD) along with the application form.
