Gauhati University has given an employment notification for the recruitment of Deputy Secretary, System Officer, Research Fellow & Project Manager vacancies on Permanent basis.

1. Deputy Secretary: 01 Post
2. System Officer: 01 Post
3. Research Fellow: 01 Post
4. Project Manager: 01 Post

Age Limit:

Age should not be above 45 years for Post 1, 38 years for Post 2, 3 & not be less than 45 years & not above 65 years for Post 4 as on 01-06-2016.

Age relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH candidates is applicable as per State Govt Rules for Post 3.

Educational Qualification:

You should possess Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent for post 1

BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering/ IT with at least a first class for Post 2

Post Graduate Degree in Demography/ Population Studies/ Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics/ Sociology from UGC recognized University/ Institution with at least 2 class for post 3

Bachelor Degree preferably in Civil Engineering/ a Master Degree for Post 4 with relevant experience

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on test/ interview.
