NID OR NIFT

Hello sir after 12th I’m confused between NID and NIFT for taking admission for design course. Will you tell me which institute is best NID or NIFT?

As per my knowledge both institutes are best for you for design courses. You can take admission in any one institute.

Both institutes are provides PG, UG and any other diploma course in designing in various fields.

The National Institute of Design is a design school in Ahmedabad, India. The institute functions as an autonomous body under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, government of India.

Courses are offered by NID:
Bachelor of Design (BDes)
Master of Design (MDes)
Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD)

The National Institute of Fashion Technology was established in 1986. It has emerged as the premier Institute of Design, Management and Technology, developing professionals for taking up leadership positions in fashion business in the emerging global scenario.

Courses offered by NIFT:
Bachelor Programmes (B.Des) - 4 years
B.Design: Fashion Design, Leather Design, Accessory Design, Textile Design, Knitwear Design, Fashion Communication
Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech): Apparel Production
Masters Programmes (2 years)
Master Programmes: Master of Design, Master of Fashion Management, Master of Fashion Technology


So according to me both are best you can get admission in which you want.
