University Of Calcutta offers two year course of B.Ed that focuses at understanding and developing the knowledge and skills required for practising teachers at secondary school level. Subjects Offered at CU B.Ed Bengali, English, Sanskrit, Marathi, Mathematics, History, Geography, Accountancy and Book Keeping, Economics, Education, Political Science, Hindi, Urdu and Arabic Eligibility Criteria:- •Graduate/post graduate degree with a minimum aggregate of 55 percent marks (40 percent marks in case of SC/ST candidates). •Two years of relevant teaching experience from a CBSE/ICSE/NCTE or state board affiliated school/institution or organization. Age limit:- •For fresher students - 40 Years •For deputed students - 45 Years Age limit relaxation:- A relaxation of 5 years is provided to students belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and differently abled category candidates. Admission Procedure:- For admission to B.Ed program in Calcutta University you will be required to submit filled in application form with attested copies of relevant documents as mentioned in Entrance-cum-admission form.
