Default Re: NITW CGPA To Percentage Conversion

National Institute of Technology, Warangal is a premier federally funded technical institute in India

Percentage = (CGPA*10) - 5.
Percentage = (CGPA*10). This is to facilitate People with GPA of 6 to apply for companies that have a cutoff of 60%

The older formula would only allow people who have a GPA greater than 6.5. So, this conversion is still used by T&P.

In General the Formula to Conversion of the CGPA Marls to percentage is as follow :

For students under the 4-point credit system, the procedure is CGPA*18+20=Equivalent percentage

Eg: If CGPA is 3.00, then the equivalent percentage = 3.00*18+30=74%

Letter Grade Performanc Grade point%
Ex. Excellent 10
A Very good 9
B Good 8
C Fair 7
D Average 6
P Pass 5
F Fail 0
