AFMC MBBS 2016 Eligibility Criteria

Following are the key-point for AFMC MBBS 2016 Eligibility Criteria:-

Nationality –

The candidate appearing for AFMC MBBS 2016 must be an Indian.

Education qualification –

The candidate must be 10 + 2 passed out or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Medical Qualification –

In case of physical and mental ability, the candidate must be medically fit as arranged standards by the Government of India, Ministry of Defence.

Marital Status – Candidate should be unmarried to attempt AFMC Exam.

Age Criteria –

For candidates who has passed 10+2 or equivalent –

Must attain the age of 17 years on December 31, 2015; but should not have attained the age of 22 years on that date i.e. should have been born not earlier than January 01, 1994 and not later than December 31, 1998.

For candidates who has passed B.Sc. examination or appearing in Final B.Sc. examination –

Must not have attained the age of 24 years i.e. should have been born not earlier than January 01, 1992.

Key details of AFMC MBBS Admission

The duration of MBBS course is 4 ½ years followed by compulsory rotating internship training of one year.

Total Number of Seats are 130. 105 seats are for boys and 25 seats are for girls.

Ten seats out of 130 are reserved for candidates belonging to the scheduled castes/scheduled tribes.

Numerous seats are subject to change in next admission session.
