I will tell you the total number of seats available in Rajasthan Pre Medical Test (RPMT) so that you can go through it easily.

Here I’m telling you about the seats

In RPMT, There are 100 seats out of which 15 seats were reserved NRI students, 35 seats are of high tuition fee as per Bhargav commission constituted by Honorable Rajasthan High Court for regulation of fees for medical studies.

The remaining 50 seats are government seat with fee structure as other government Medical Colleges in Rajasthan And, 15% of government seats are filled by AIPMT.

So, In Most of the colleges, there are 100 seats availiable. The total intake of students is 100 per year -

35 seats - (Government) admitted through RPMT

15 seats - (Government) admitted through AIPMT

35 seats - (High tuition fee as per Bhargav comm.) admitted through RPMT

15 Seats - (NRI Seat) Direct admitted through Personal interview.

Aspirants must be the resident of Rajasthan or must have the domicile of Rajasthan.
It is required for the applying candidates to complete/passed their 12th board examination with an aggregate of 50% in PCB and English as a mandatory subject.

Exam pattern
The candidates appearing for the RPMT examination must aware about the examination pattern that includes the type of question, total number of questions and marking scheme. It is necessary for the candidates to know about the examination pattern for the better preparation. RPMT 2016 examination pattern is given below:

The paper of RPMT will consist of 200 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Zoology subjects. There will be 50 questions from each subject

Selection procedure
The merit list will be prepared for the qualified candidates and the admission will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s rank in the examination. 85% of seats is allotted for the Rajasthan domicile holder candidates and 15% of seats are reserved for the candidates applying through AIPMT examination.
