Hi I would like to have information about Maharashtra Public Service Commission as well as the details of the examination it conducts?

Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) is a Constitutional Body set up Under Article 315 of Constitution of India which gives a smooth and productive working of the Government of Maharashtra ("GoM") by giving suitable possibility to different Government posts.

MPSC Conducts

To direct examinations for arrangements to the administration of Government of Maharashtra and its associated associations.

MPSC's Eligibility Criteria and Scheme of Examination

Instructive Qualification:

Four year college education in any workforce of a perceived college.

Age limit

* 19 to 33 years - Open Category

* Five yrs unwinding for SC/ST, Players (Winners of Awards)

* Five yrs impediment for Ex-servicemen Army, Short administration Commission

* Age 45 for debilitated persons.

MPSC Rajya seva Examination (Overview)

This Examination initiates possibility for the post of Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sales Tax Officer and different Class I and II Officers

There are Three Stages:

1) Preliminary Examination

2) Main Examination

3) Interview

Preparatory Examination

Paper I - (200 imprints)

* Current occasions of state, national and universal significance.

* History of India (with extraordinary reference to Maharashtra) and Indian National Movement.

* Maharashtra, India and World Geography - Physical, Social, Economic Geography of Maharashtra, India and the World.

* Maharashtra and India - Polity and Governance - Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Urban Governance, Public Policy, Rights issues, and so forth.

* Economic and Social Development - Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector activities, and so forth.

* General issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-differing qualities and Climate Change - that don't require subject specialization.

* General Science.

Paper II - (200 imprints) Comprehension

* Interpersonal aptitudes including relational abilities.

* Logical thinking and scientific capacity.

* Decision - making and issue - unraveling.

* General mental capacity.

* Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, requests of greatness, and so on.) (Class X level), Data elucidation (Charts, diagrams, tables, information adequacy and so forth.- Class X level)

* Marathi and English Language Comprehension aptitudes (Class X/XII level).
