I have heard a lot about School of Distance Education of Bharathiar University, does this university provide M.Phil by distance education. Also provide me the list of courses offered by University in year 2012.

School of Distance Education (SDE) of Bharathiar University was launched during 1991-92. Presently, School of Distance Education (SDE) of Bharathiar University has 202 centres spreading over 23 states as study centres cum spot admission centres, and the number study centres is gradually increasing.

Yes Bharathiar University offers M.Phil by part time registration (Its not distance education but its part time).
The Candidates who got selected by admission test must get them self registered for M.Phil Program. The registration is done on 1st of August and 1st of January every academic year.

The candidates are permitted to appear in Part I examination after completing 12 months in case of part time registration..

The maximum period to complete M.Phil programme is 3 year for the part time candidates.
