Default Re: JEXPO Admission Procedure

Joint Entrance Examination for Polytechnics admission is a state level entrance exam conducted by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) each year in the month of April for granting admission into three years Diploma in Engineering programmes in different Government Polytechnics situated across West Bengal.


Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate age should not be exceeded than 21 years at the time of admission. There will be three years relaxation in upper age for SC/ST category.
Applicant must have done Matriculation or 10th with Physical Science, Mathematics, & English from Central or State Board recognized by Government.

Examination pattern :

Joint Entrance Examination (JEXPO) is conducted in objective mode.
Questions will be asked from subjects of
Mathematics,
Physics
Chemistry.
Total time allotted for the test is 4 hours. In total the test carries 200 marks. Maximum marks allotted for the section of Mathematics is 100 and that for Physics and Chemistry is 100.
