West Bengal Staff Selection Commission is the commission which is established by the state government of West Bengal. This department was just founded for selection of best and desirable candidates for various government departments. West Bengal Staff Selection Commission Lower Division Clerk (LDC) is Exam will be consisted of two Examinations Paper I and Paper II which will be held on two different dates. Main Subjects which all candidates will have to prepare are English, General Studies and Arithmetic. Total number of questions is 100 in written exam. Arithmetic Syllabus: -Divisibility. -Fractions. -Decimals. -Recurring Decimals. -Simplification. -H.C.F. -L.C.M. -Partnership. -Average. -Ratio and Proportion. -Percentage. -Simple Interest. -Profit and Loss. -Time and Distance. -Area of Rectangle & Squares. Group A – English Syllabus: -Drafting of a report in English from points or materials supplied. -Condensing of a prose passage (summary or précis). -Translation from Bengali/ Hindi/ Urdu/ Nepali, as the case may be, into English.
