PNB or Punjab National Bank is an Indian multinational banking and financial services company based in New Delhi, India and founded in 1894. It is one of the Big Four banks of India, along with ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda and State Bank of India.

It has tie up for money transfer service with Global Money Transfer Pvt. Ltd. for facilitating payment with a ceiling of USD 2500 on individual remittance.

Only personal payments such as payments towards family maintenance and favoring foreign tourists visiting India are permissible.

Trade related payments, payment towards purchase of property, investments or credit to NRE accounts, donations/contribution to charitable organizations are not permitted.

Recipient can collect cash for payments upto Rs.50,000 from any branch of PNB in India.

However, in exceptional circumstances, i.e. where beneficiary is a foreign tourist, higher amount may be disbursed in cash.

Not more than 30 payments by a single recipient/beneficiary during a calendar year.
